Console light table bu Ryosuke Harashima
Name: Early Dawn
Collection: STILLIFE
A console table that using a wooden box that stores two Japanese gold folding screens. It is a new history of the tool was used in Japanese night culture. If you decorate the gold folding screens, it will be about 6m wide.
STILLIFE
STILLIFE is not to redesign old Japanese folk tools but also to have a dialogue with the tools. Morphing "old folk tools" into a "more attractive still life" by giving it a modern interpretation. "Tsukumo God" which we Japanese have an idea that a tool will be given a life when it passes over 100 years old, attracts people and invokes creativity. I try to inspire people to think about
the meaning of sustainability and consumption society through my collection of STILLIFE.
