Artist statement
This award winning minimalist armchair 'Helena' designed by Samuel Lamas has an architectonic and geometric reasoning. The aim is to create a simple chair with pure geometric shapes. Its square crossbars are solid iron to create a perfect meeting point for the offset profiles that sketch the space aerially. Its volumetric rationality is balanced by the natural leather.
