Artist statement
"Dorian" table by Sebastiano Bottos is a complex Corian made shape deriving from a simple design: an elliptical surface supported by a bent base that delicately skirts its vertices. Subtle surfaces turn into masses and vice versa due to the interplay of light and shadow. The composition of Corian is optimal: its invisible joints allow a fluid, seamlessly sculptured surface, velvety and pleasant to the touch. Available in other colours.
