Artist statement
Each knot in the bench is raised out around 8mm through a chiseling process. The flowing connections are then made out of epoxy resin.
The composition depends on both the position and directions of these knots. As such, I cannot reproduce the exact same bench twice as there is never the same composition of knots. rather, it is a dialogue between maker and material.
