Artist statement
Studio EJ presents a new collection, result from a long- term study on the beauty of natural light and its relationship with shadow. The project explores the interation between perception and conception in a poetic sensory experience.
This project aims to bring the poetic moments in the woods; natural light, leafy shadow and breeze into the space having people enjoy the moments in their urban routine.
it features virtual natural light effect on the surface of lenticular lens. Thanks to the shadow printed lenticular lens, the pattern of the dappled light changes as the sight moves. By manipulating the illusionistic effect of lenticular lens, it finally gives a life to a small object with the moment of dappled light, which you can feel the natural light as well as the breeze.
