Alumina Chair by Studio Gameiro
Aluminium is a stubborn element to shape, as it sticks to form quite easily, and takes very little time to settle in. To turn such a sturdy element into a light as a feather chair, smooth as can be, is an intricate exercise in craft and technique which showcases why every challenge at the Studio puts us in our tiptoes to go higher and push further than before (and then taking a much deserved seat). The Alumina Chair is an incredible modular piece as it looks wind-blown lightweight, but has an incredibly structured resistance (including the odd scratch). Fit to form, one might say.
The Alumina Chair belongs to the Alumina Collection, also composed of the Alumina Round Table, Alumina Square Table and Alumina Wooden Stool.
