Ege No 2 Kilim Rug (Midnight-Blue)

Ege No 2 kilim rug belongs to Ege Kilim Series. Ege is a series of kilim rugs reflecting an admiration for the visual and emotional expressiveness of the sea surface, with its fluid movements, and hues of color reflections that create a relaxing effect on the human psyche. Growing up in the Aegean coast, in love with water and the blue Aegean Sea, the name for this kilim series could not be anything but Ege, the Turkish name for Aegean. Ege series aims to bring the aura of the sea into the interior space.

Ege kilims are handwoven by Anatolian weavers using vegetable dyed Anatolian wool. The handwoven nature gives each kilim its one and only and distinctive character. Design: Fulden Topaloglu

Ege Kilim Collection received EDIDA - Elle Decoration International Design Awards in 2020, in Turkey and International Silver A' Design Award in 2021.
