Artist statement
Sama is a sculptural dining table offered as part of Studio Kali's furniture collection. Taking its reference from the poetry of whirling costumes worn in Sufi ceremonies, the design plays with the geometry of conic sections to create simple yet authentic pieces of furniture. Two wings of the table base provide a feeling of lightness as well as letting light to offer its appealing interplay with the table base. The minimal design language when combined with the beauty of oak establishes an elegant feel and natural aesthetics.
The table is made from oak and high-quality oak veneer with a choice of 4 different veneer patterns for the table surface in order to blend with different interior styles.

Can be customized.
Shipped in 2 pieces; minor assembly is required to screw the table top to the table leg.
