Artist statement
The honed edge of this crystal glass mirror is finished with a hand applied liquid bronze, and encased in a secondary off-set hand carved and bronze finished frame.
Commissioned for a residential project on the Upper West Side, New York City, the mirror is set in a frame overflowing the mirror, creating the illusion that it is emerging from a puddle of liquid bronze.
