Artist statement
Supersonic is the first design from our new O MOSS bespoke rug series - a collection of project based bespoke rugs and wall tapestry pieces designed by studio SORS. Hand knotted in Nepal with interwoven layers of charcoal gray and silver color silk and wool fibers, the various thicknesses throughout the design create a soft terrain in a series that plays homage to the mid-century shag carpet, reinvented with sophistication to endure.
Each Supersonic rug is hand-knotted to order. Bespoke size and fiber composition requests are available upon request.
