The After Chair reimagines everyday furniture through the lens of Singapore's fast-paced development. Inspired by the raw aesthetics of construction sites across the city, this chair combines familiar textures, patterns, and colors that reflect the nation’s urban growth. Designed as an ode to Singapore’s young yet evolving architectural landscape, the After Chair brings a sense of familiarity and community into the home.
Crafted to symbolize resilience and transformation, the chair balances comfort with a utilitarian edge. Its mixed-media construction integrates industrial elements in a modern form, making it a unique piece that doubles as functional seating and conversation-starting art. The After Chair is not only a place to rest but also a tactile reminder of the shared spaces and identities that shape Singapore.
