Artist statement
The ‘’1000Piedi’’ is a coffee- table from the collection Visioni Opposte, designed and realised during the Beirut Art Residency in 2017. The Object is obtained from a big rock of Green-Bamboo a Brazilian granite. The shape is hand carved following the natural curves of the stone. The fourteen feet are made out of ultra-clear glass, they are inserted in fourteen slots of five-centimetre depth and sealed with special silicon. Each one of the glass it has a15 mm thickness.
