Telluride - Stracciatella - Centrepiece - White Volcanic Porcelain

Stracciatella is the first object of the Telluride collection created with the Volcanic Porcelain.
Telluride is a design project carried out by the Tellurico studio centred on the use of new materials in the production of a brand new porcelain clay mixture - the Volcanic Porcelain.
The volcanic porcelain is a combination of Lava Stones gather on the hills of the Phlegrean Fields in the south of Italy and an ultra-white porcelain paste.
During the firing, the lava melts and bursts through the porcelain creating a wonderful and unexpected texture. The two chemical structures, of the two materials, bond perfectly together creating an, even more, stronger porcelain.
Even if a Limited Edition, thanks to the special firing process each piece is different from the other. A unique centrepiece for your house.
