Artist statement
The Wuji Low Table gently cultivates refined lines. Functional and timeless, it is ideal to combine with different interior styles. Its rounded shape draws its inspiration from the principle of Yin and Yang.
ESSENCE AND TECHNIQUE
The wood of the table is curved in two parts. The slatted part is made of beech heated in a steam oven to give it its rounded shape. The second part, meanwhile, is cold-bent, then covered with a walnut veneer. The materials are worked by hand then protected by a Rubio oil or a matte varnish. Each part requires a working time spread over 40 days.
The design of all our models gives rise to legal protection. Our products are numbered and certified pieces of art. The dimensions as well as the shades of wood may vary according to the trees.
