Artist statement
The human being is a creature of layers. We are mind, body and soul. We are our past. We are our experiences. We are our memories. We are our emotions. We are our feelings. We are our hopes and we are our dreams. They all boil inside our psyche.
This wall table is made of acid white veneer, with Arabic calligraphy inlaid with steel. The base that is made of brass might seem weird to most of you, whereas it is actually the foundation, the steady base that holds it all together.
