Artist statement
A wonderful fiber sculpture whose shape is inspired by nature and represents a hanging cocoon. The cocoon has a beautiful beige color as it is made out of natural cotton rope. The material also makes this sculpture soft, warm and pleasant to touch. This work is made in ancient knotting technique known as macrame. The one and only sculpture from the collection COCOONS that doesn’t have any opening.
