Alejandro Artigas was born in Mexico City in 1978 to a family of Architects. He is now based in Los Angeles, CA. His passion for architecture and design led him to study architecture in Italy, Mexico City and at the prestigious Architectural Association in London. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The Southern California Institute of Architecture, SCI-Arc, in Los Angeles. Before graduating from SCI-Arc he co-founded Gabriela Artigas Jewelry in 2003, and the following year founded ARTLESS Corporation, as an architecture and design practice. Alejandro continued his pursuit of Architecture and in 2008 he graduated with a Masters degree in Advanced Architectural Design from The Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University, GSAPP.
Since 2009 he has been the lead designer for ARTLESS. He wears many hats on a day-to-day basis; architect, designer, curator, artist, and entrepreneur- always in the belief that aesthetics can contribute to a better world.
What inspires you?
At this point life as a holistic project inspires me most. How can life, work, nature all be lived with integrity.
