Edward is a furniture designer who started his design career immediately after holding a degree in Industrial Design. Emphasizing simplicity in design, his works were recognized in local furniture design competitions during the very early days of his career, and he also became a Design talent for a government organization, undergoing design training by renowned Filipino designers and manufacturers which lead to showcases in local trade shows.
Curious with different production processes, and to further polish his learning and techniques, he now runs his own furniture studio (e/lou) as a designer/maker focusing on wood as his main material. His designs are known for uncomplicated forms mixed with intricate handmade wood joinery.
