Isabel Alonso is a Spanish designer and PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art, funded by LAHP. Previously, she studied Industrial Design and an MA in Graphic Arts in Spain, and an MA in Design Products at the RCA funded by "la Caixa". Isabel received the Spanish National Award for Academic Excellence and was awarded in the International Design Awards. She has worked in Spain, Sweden and the UK. Her design approach is collaborative, research-based and experimental, tackling cultural and ecological issues. Narrative, material honesty and attentive composition characterise her work.
