Jan Garncarek is heavily influenced by places that represent the cradle of European design, such as Milan, Barcelona, Paris, and Berlin. During the development of his designs, two intentions constantly accompany him - the preservation of the testimony of Warsaw culture before the war, and an interdisciplinary search for inspiration in functional art, literature, sociology, anthropology, and psychology.
Jan Garncarek holds a master’s degree in Design from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He has also studied at Politecnico di Milano, Michele de Lucchi, and attended classes by Andrea Branzi. He set up his studio in 2017 after working for Towarzystwo Projektowe, a Warsaw based industrial design studio. His portfolio includes lamps, tables, chairs, and decorative objects. He focuses on precious materials and refined details.
All of the products are created with an individual approach to every detail, guaranteeing the highest quality and uniqueness of every piece.
