Artist Name

Jim Rokos

Born: 1973

Hometown: London

Based in: London

Rokos' works are inventive and practical, behaving in surprising ways in use.
He trained in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins in London. He almost exclusively designs homeware to be built from borosilicate glass because it can be formed by hand with a high degree of precision which allows asymmetrical shapes to be created. His symmetrical glass designs may be mouth blown into wooden moulds in crystal.
