A professional photographer-turned-artist, Chai Soong is exceptionally gifted in oil, acrylic, and three-dimensional goldfish painting. His preference of using nostalgic vintage materials, such as canvas, is to bring art collectors on a trip down memory lane.

Chai Soong’s exquisite masterpieces are skillfully hand-painted with acrylic colors and layered with transparent Resin. After each layer of painting, a thin layer of resin is poured on top. Each layer takes a minimum of 12 hours to dry, and they need to harden before the artist can move on to the next stage of the creation.

In order to create the 3D effect, each masterpiece requires more than ten steps (especially for goldfish’s many layers of scales).

擅长油画Oil、胶彩Acrylic、近几年尝试绘画立体金鱼画，可以使用不同的碗碟画入各种金鱼，相当有趣。

才舜的金鱼作品都是全手工使用Acrylic颜色画在透明的resin上，每画一层后就倒入薄薄一层的resin，倒入resin后需等约12个小时resin才会干透并硬化才能继续下一次的绘画。如此从复这样的步骤，有时一个作品就有十多层的步骤始能完成，比如金鱼因为它的鳞片很多层就必须花非常多的时间及步骤完成它。这有别于传统绘画，若是画鱼的话必须从鱼的最底层开始绘画，一层一层的画到最顶层。

最后,才舜有许多作品都是使用非常陈旧的器皿。他觉得使用旧式的器皿有一种怀旧的感觉，画入金鱼或普通小鱼为的就是要让人回忆旧时童年的时光。
