Artist Name

Raffaella Loi

Born: 1992

Hometown: Bry sur Marne

Based in: Paris

Based in Paris, Raffaella Loï is a designer from a Franco-Italian family. She grew up surrounded by manual labourers and craftsmen, immersed in Italian culture from which she draws her inspiration. Early on she became interested in the family business: marble.

She developed her designs in the family marble workshop. This noble material, filled with immeasurable shades and colours, encouraged her to recycle scraps and offcuts and continues to feed her creativity today: Upcycling, a sustainable development approach in which unused materials are recovered in order to transform and sublimate them, becomes a key element of her work.

Her collections, made up of unique pieces in limited editions.
Her creations, a blend of art and design.

Raffaella's work reveals her sense for contrasted and balanced compositions that enhance the value of the material.
