Roni Feiten was educated in painting and sculpting at Düsseldorf Art Academy. Finishing her studies as a master student she then took some time to reconsider her ever present enthusiasm for good design in everyday objects and decided to further engage in the craft of pottery. Fascinated by the elemental yet complex process of making ceramics she finds herself in an aesthetic realm somewhere inbetween ancient pottery, space age design and the architectural forms of socialist modernism. She now lives and works on an old farm in proximity to her hometown Berlin.
