“I aspire to reconcile man and the environment by creating contemporary furniture. It is a way of learning to live at the rhythm of nature and of cultivating one's inner well-being. Combining the profession of craftsman and designer allows me every day to merge their best values and to offer delicate and resistant furniture. »

Tiffanie Baso created her brand MAGDELEINE in 2019, she combines a refined aesthetic and ancestral know-how with the richness of essences, the design and the manufacture of exceptional French art furniture.

After having had the opportunity to work in the world of fashion in London and car design for the Faurécia Group in Paris, his desire to explore forms through wood became obvious.

In my workshop, I combine design and craftsmanship to create unique, contemporary and functional pieces. Thanks to my two skills, I masters the object from creation to realization. My inspiration is guided by the enhancement of nature and the search for your well-being. I design my creations to work better on their ergonomics and their slender shapes. The bending technique magnifies the natural curves of the wood by combining the full and the empty.

My artistic reflection focuses on the balance of essences, shapes and thickness. The search for harmony between mind and body feeds my imagination. I want to re-establish a link between man and nature through the comfort and nobility of this living material.

A Made in France art brand

Since 2022, the Artisan d'art and Made in France distinctions have been awarded to Magdeleine because of her rare know-how in the use of the bending technique and her capacity for innovation with unique designs.

Magdeleine is committed to providing a unique experience. The wood is worked naturally to keep its unique smell and touch. It offers a collection of available essences, if you want to make a custom-made or personalized piece.

Having functional art objects around us and in our spaces is a real way to take care of ourselves.
