We are an Architecture and Integral Design studio founded in 2014 by Manuel De la Mora and Lourdes de la Mora.
We work at the intersection of both disciplines, focusing on the functional and the sensitive, we generate comfortable spaces according to the user's needs that allow them emotionally appropriate the environment in which they evolve.
In Volumæn we develop architecture and interior design projects, furniture and everyday objects made from artesanal and specialized techniques, tailoring them to a social context through their narrative and materiality.
We find inspiration in the uninhabited places, in the conversations of daily life and in the close collaboration with those involved in each project; doing what we aim to see multiplied in society: understanding, learning and development.
With studies at ITESO (architecture, integral design, carpentry, business administration and cost analysis for construction), ESARQ (Interior Design) and Secretaria de Cultura Jalisco (Business for the cultural and creative sector).
During the last years we have participated at Design Week, Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, Campamento Feria de Diseño and Albergue Transitorio as well as being part of "Occidente", a design collective that promotes local creativity at an international level.
