Vu Hoang Anh is a Vietnamese designer & creative director. He was trained as a sculptor at Ohio Wesleyan University and Attended the New York Arts Program in 2010 where Anh first involved in the
contemporary arts and design scenes. Anh start working with furniture shortly after he moved back to Vietnam in 2012. With hands-on experience from his training and earlier practice, Anh values the importance of craftsmen and their trades. From the initial sketches to the development of prototypes, Anh’s conversations with the artisans play such important roles in helping to fully form his products. Over the years, Anh has developed an artistic and practical senses that infused in his recent works.
