Artesan is an art gallery and studio based in Singapore, specializing in contemporary Pan-Asian Art. Since its inception in 2005, its main emphasis had been Southeast Asian artists, and has since commenced to showcase artists from other areas such as Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and Malaysia.

For the past fifteen years, Artesan Gallery + Studio has engaged in several collaborations with the National University Museum, National Arts Council of Singapore, The Lee Foundation in Singapore, LASALLE College of The Arts ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts), The National Center & Community for the Arts in the Philippines, INSEAD Singapore, the Singapore Tyler Print Institute, the Nanyang Technological Institute, Singapore Art Museum, Singapore International Fund and the prestigious Ateneo Art Gallery in Metromanila. Artesan is also the founder of REAP (Residency & Exchange Art Program) in Singapore, as well founder of Art-on-Tour, a roaming art gallery in Asia. Artesan participated in the tenth Florence Biennale in 2015, and most importantly, showcased at the Palazzo Mora during the Venice Biennale 2017 - and then again in 2019.

Founder and Managing Director, Roberta Dans, has a strong heritage in the arts and is a part of a generation of renowned artists from the Philippines. She also has an extensive background in business management, having worked in the banking and retail industry for over twelve years. In 2016, she was bestowed the Visionary Award for Arts & Culture by the Manila Standard, for her continued role in promoting and cultivating abroad some of the best visual artists from the country. Having lived in Singapore for the past thirty years, she divides her time between Singapore, France and the Philippines.
