Born in Milan, Italy, Mattia navigates his days been his work as an audio artist and designer for film, tv and new media, and his career as a visual artist. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2017, and then spent time in Los Angeles, Madrid and London. His artwork is inspired by geometric and procedural coding techniques, using tools such as Processing and p5js to create unique black and white abstract designs. Whilst his work is generated from code, the designs always present a human quality to it, by allowing small imperfections, noise and asymmetry into it.
