‘Lucky’ is the latest exhibition from Australian Artist and Textile Designer Chris Chun, which features the 12 animals of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Each animal combines traditional Asian symbolism with contemporary Western sensibilities to bring good fortune, health and happiness to their owner.
The Monkey is the 9th in the 12-year cycle of Chinese Zodiac. People born in the Year of the Monkey are considered to be wise and intelligent, especially in their career and matters of wealth.
They are lively, flexible, quick-witted and versatile. In addition, their gentleness and honesty bring them a blissful life filled with everlasting love.
