The painting depicts a woman standing on a rock in the ocean. She is wearing a white dress and a straw hat and is looking out to the horizon. The ocean is a deep blue-green and the water is calm and still. On the left side of the image is a large rock formation with a white rock on the right side. The rock is covered in greenery and there are several smaller rocks scattered around the water. The sky is light blue with a few white clouds. The overall mood of the painting is peaceful and serene.
