The Trinity of the Chinese Character Fulfillment in Time and Space

This print image started as a fabricated steel sculpture of the Chinese Character Fulfillment. The top and bottom are partial images, the middle one is a complete image. This is symbolic for time. The middle image represents the present. The top and bottom images point to the future and past. Fulfillment is very personal to each person. We must look within to answer the question of what is important to me, and how can I express this in the world. The actual sculpture stands 6 feet tall. I like this size because it is approximately the size that a human being can be. The Trinity refers to the number 3. Three is a significant number in many cultures and religions in the world. Many objects and ideas come in groups of three. In this artwork there are three of the same image, moving in and out of the space the image occupies, and this points to the idea of time, present, past and future, that we experience in our daily lives. The Chinese Character Fulfillment sculpture stands on top of the water in a beautiful outdoor landscape. Finding ones personal path in life is magical, like learning to walk on water.
