Artist statement
Geometric 204r2 is an abstraction of a kaleidoscopic image. There are several versions of the main image (Geometric 204), most of which are open editions; each varying with regard to coloration of the elements, and with different amounts of contrast between background and foreground elements. In this version, 204r2, I have darkened the background elements so the foreground elements clearly stand out in a plane way in front of the background plane, and seem to just float in space there.
