Artist statement
North Shore is an image I captured during a XXL swell hitting the North Shore of Kauai. The islands take on massive winter swells, challenging the local watermen and surfers. An incredible visual and energetic performance by the oceans. The waves crash into the beaches, discharging their energy into the land and the people standing there. Watching these swells can leave you in awe.
Pastel Earth is a capsule collection of some of my favorite images with pastel tones throughout my travels. These four images were taken during my expeditions through Iceland, Greenland, the United States. Sensational colors captured at the few seconds of morning pink light made these images possible.
