About the art
Artist statement
The photo was taken in Ukraine, in the city of Kharkiv in 2023.
My model for this shoot was a duck. The day was sunny, so the sunlight
created a great outline, at the moment of shooting I immediately realize what
kind of picture I will make from this shot.
After taking more than two hundred shots, I chose the most successful ones,
in which the duck seems to pose for me personally. And then I removed all
the unnecessary things from the picture, all the unnecessary noise that
distracts the viewer from the elegant bird.
