The title of the work is:
VENEDIG 123 - BRETAGNE 1
- The essence of a holiday
- Stratification of time
I went to visit the western part of France - the Bretagne back in 2010.
This ArtWork is made out of 45 Pictures of boats laying on the coast of France.
The art project VENEDIG 123 - which I have worked intensively on, is the reduction of the average number of photographs - the holiday pictures taken on a typical vacation in Germany (over the last 20 years) - to a single image, this is done by digital layering of 35 - 250 frames
According to my research, over the years the average number of photos taken home from a holiday trip has grown from around 35 photos (20 years ago) to well over 250 photos.
Everything started with my Trip to Venice - and I took 123 Pictures there.
I made more than 45 works from this series.
