John was enjoying his holiday on the moon but was starting to wonder how he would get back.
Retro-futuristic collage art by Taudalpoi (2021).
In general, I'm always attracted to making art that depicts a surreal past or future in which space travel is completely normal. Especially with a vintage or retro twist. The inspiration for this particular artwork was the feeling of loneliness and isolation. The universe fascinates me but also scares me.
