"Bea Schubert: A World Journey in Color – From Backpack Travels to Canvas"
Bea Schubert, born in 1959, is an artist who not only saw the world but absorbed it deeply within herself. Her artistic journey began with studying at the renowned University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig under the guidance of Professor Hermann Albert, where she learned the fundamentals of painting. However, the true turning point in her career came after her studies when she decided to depart from the conventional path and spent seven years exploring the world with nothing but a backpack.
This journey was more than just an adventure; it was a quest for light and color in a often dark world, a pursuit of joy and vibrancy amidst global catastrophes. This profound experience shaped her artistic vision and led her back to her true calling: painting. Here, she found her unique voice and coined the term "AbstractPop," which perfectly encapsulates the essence of her art. Bea combines vibrant neon colors with everyday objects to create works that exude pure joy of life. Her preference for large canvases allows her to create a visual impact that captivates viewers. The theme in her art is childhood.
Bea Schubert, whose studios are located in both Nienburg/Weser and the sunny island of Mallorca, has made a name for herself internationally. Her artworks are presented and esteemed in galleries and prestigious art fairs worldwide. Impressive also is the recognition her work has received from renowned institutions such as the German Embassy in Athens and the Chagall Museum in Vitebsk, Belarus. Additionally, her works find their place in important international collections.
For the future, Bea has grand plans. She aspires to exhibit her art in museums and in public spaces on the Balearic Island, thus spreading her vision of a brighter, more colorful world further. Bea Garding Schubert is more than just an artist; she is a visionary who through her art makes the world a more livable and colorful place.
