Delnara was born in Ukraine, but does not often visit her homeland. How the artist works with
the polysemy of the concept of "migration", searches for new facets of a multicultural and
multiethnic world community.
Dynamic perception, the rejection of settled life, migration - in her artistic practice, these are
tools for the re-actualization of the "mental map", a way to see more clearly, resetting again
and again the automaticity of perception. Nomadism as an instrument of cognition and
estrangement, a hormone of fresh perception, transferred to the field of art, allows you to
leave room for a miracle, for the manifestation of life itself.
Lives and works on a continuous journey, since 2013, the author of the Artbookmania project
and the organizer of art travels around the world (at the moment she has conducted 66 art
tours in countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey,
Ukraine, Russia, Estonia, Finland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, Georgia). Until 2020,
the main theme is travel diaries. During this period, more than 2,400 works were created in
more than 50 artbooks - travel books. During the pandemic, she stayed in Turkey and creates
interior works, mostly of a tropical theme, inspired by travels to exotic countries.
The main material with which she works is watercolor. But she is also experimenting with
other media - epoxy, gouache, graphics, collage, relief, installation.
