Fabienne Monestier is a French professionnal painter.
She is graduated in Fine Art. She studied experimental cinema and engraving at the art school "Institut d'Arts Visuels" of Orléans, France.
But her favorite practice, in cinema, was to draw the story-boards !
She get an Art School High Diploma in 1989. She really began painting in 1994.
Main time, she paints from imagination, because she likes the freedom of evocation. She likes working in figurative, abstract, impressionism or photorealism ways. She always says that the most important, for her, is to create images !
All her artworks are original pieces, paintings and drawings, direct from her studio in Touraine, in the Loire Valley, France.
She is also a lyrical mezzo singer in the professionnal choir from Opera of Tours, France.

nature, flowers, colors, forms, emotions, forests, sky, horizon, cities, dystopia, landscape, mystery
Describe your creative process.
My creative process is based on pareidolia. I make scrawls, stains on the white surface. And then, I look at the forms and shapes that appears. I rearrange composition and it leads me during my painting work. I always keep luminous, fresh colors. I don't like muddy colors. I often paint like I write, very quickly.
