Francisco Ledesma is a visual artist and writer from Aguascalientes, Mexico, where he resides and carries out his artistic work.
The painting of Ledesma is outside the orbit of any school or trend, it is an absolutely personal work, focused on the use of techniques and procedures of application of oil created and developed by him, which makes his art original and unique. These discoveries are the product of experimentation and reflection on the field of painting. Ledesma is the creator of the technique that is entitled Oil Dispersion. His work is present on the art scene through his creative process and his interest to experiment, discover, understand and apply new knowledge, methods, techniques and ideas to the field of painting. As a contribution to the renovation of the art of painting, artist Francisco Ledesma created Oil Dispersion, a technique based on the experimentation of oil paint. Oil Dispersion deals mainly with visual effects and features such as color, texture and uncommon images. These images range from figurative to abstract, through patterns resembling fractals with organic characteristics.

The original and colorful artwork of Francisco Ledesma is inspired in nature, and shows attractive areas which are plenty of fractal textures, organic shapes and tremendously rich details
Describe your creative process.
Ledesma is the author of the renowned painting technique Oil Dispersion. Ledesma works on unplanned subjects, elements, emotions, life experiences, which belong to his subconscious. He's always experimenting, in order to get different textures and color mixtures. He uses the regular oils, but changes constantly from one solvent to another
