Petra Fröning, born 1972 in Germany, started first her creative career as a graphic designer. She decided to study painting when she was twenty-six and she begann to work as a freelance artist. Her dream came truth when she was free to paint in her first own studio in Düsseldorf in 1999 .

Even as a child Petra liked to draw and paint with passion, and she was very interested in nature. This great interest has remained to this day. Natur as the source of her tireless work.

In numerous exhibitions at home and abroad her impressing artwork is shown to a wide audience. You can find her works in several privat and public collections. Currently Petra Fröning received a scholarship to work on her new project „sliding past“ a movie of an an endless drawing.
