I live in New York, painting and going to galleries, museums, and friends studios pursuing a painterly Colorfield Abstraction. I have shown work in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Connecticut, and Provence France. I am in the permanent collection of the Coupeluzos Museum in Athens Greece.
I'm interested in a painterly Colorfield abstraction. I want them to be spacious, airy, and calm. So painterly, of the hand, but depicting a volume of space which seems to be counter intuitive but I see this in the work of Rothko, Diebenkorn, and Dzubas; painters who have helped me develop my ideas of how gestures create space and enhance its rhythms and movements across the surface of the canvas.
