Colombian artist of origin and Italian by adoption. Her basic training in Fine Arts was acquired at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University (1985-1991) in Bogotá, where she also studied classical and contemporary dance. He perfected himself and then specialized in Italy, Florence, a city in which he continued his experiences in scenography and theatrical activity, activities that have been some of his main sources of inspiration. His specialization in engraving was carried out at the renowned International School "Il Bisonte" (1992-1993) in Florence and at the School of specialization in photoengraving in Valdottavo, Lucca, Estudio Camnitzer (1993-1994), as well as at the International School Fuji and at the International School "Studio Santa Reparata" in Florence. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Colombia, the United States of America, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Japan. She was the winner of the 25th edition of the Mini Print Internacional Cadaqués (Barcelona-Spain), an award that is added to others received both in Colombia and Italy. In recent years, she was selected to the Galleria Emblert Art Gallery Miami, and also participated in other international events such as the Triennial International Print Tokyo, the XII Biennale Internazionale per l'incisione in Acqui Terme, Italy, and the International Engraving Prize. in Bilbao, Spain. His work is abstract, but with realistic references drawn from his own practices in the world of dance and of theatrical and corporal expression. In recent years he has taken intensive courses in non-toxic etching with acid-free photopolymer plates in Buenos Aires, a system that he combines with other techniques and with digital media, as shown in his recent work.
