Japanese female artist born in Tokyo, spent 27 years in Paris where she learned fashion design, and worked with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
Came back to Tokyo in 1999, where she currently resides and works.
Her experience in Paris and in Europe where the culture of stones dominates made her choose paper as her main raw material, also in connection with Japanese culture. Since 1990, she has made "stars", wether graphical or thoroughly crafted, her trademark icon, using them in the majority of her works of mixed media (photography, collage, drawing, taping and knitting).
1986 - 2019: 13 solo exhibitions in Paris, in New York, in Tokyo, in Kyoto and in Okinawa.
7 group shows in Paris, in Tours, in Florence, in Plovdiev and in Tokyo.
