My name is Zoran Salatovic.
Born 1974, Brcko, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I moved to Germany at the age of 20 because in Bosnia and Herzegovina was a war.
My art has been shown in Reutlingen at Horwath Gallery and in Tuebingen at Grießhaber Gallery.
I grew up in a small town, surrounded by mountains and forests.
As a child, I played in the forest every day. For me, it was natural to have the rivers, the mountains and the forest around me.
I love the forests, it feels for me like home.
While I wasn´t in the forest, I read comics which I tried to draw in my own style, this was my first experience with art.
The cold-warm contrast is one of the most emotional and expressive colour contrasts. which is expressed with my works.
Some of my artworks are smooth like marble others are rough.
But all of them are colourful emotional and deep.
For me, art is the way I express myself.
Art can convey more than just a moment.
It conveys all of the emotions we can´t tell.
We can only show them.
