Artist statement
The relationship between a jockey and racehorse is a truly remarkable test of faith and trust. An unspoken agreement where every ounce of heart and soul is poured into a race that lasts just minutes; masterminded by tactics and strategy and fuelled by colossal amounts of power, passion and adrenaline.
Part of the Thoroughbred Bloodlines collection. Documented through an artistic lens; the photographs give a unique look into the glamorous world of flat racing at the track and behind closed doors.
Artwork Details:
All of Amrita's works are produced by a specialist fine art printer in London. The works are giclée printed to exhibition standards on museum grade Hahnemühle fine art cotton paper 310gsm, using archival pigment inks.
Each piece is hand signed and numbered on the front with a minimum of a one inch border.
A Certificate of Authenticity will be placed with the artwork in the shipment. The document will contain details of the work for the collector's reference.
