Most of the time, he approaches the paintings like a writer, transcribing something from his mind and putting his thoughts down into space. The images feel very much like stories that form chapters in a book written over time. It’s like writing down and locking them in time. His hands race through the surface, jotting down these stories and trying to keep up with his mind.
This spontaneous and direct approach to creating visuals meant translating across traditional and digital platforms would be seamless. It is more focused on expressing emotions. It helps keep the works open for interpretation and invoking a response from the viewer, engaging them time and time again. It’s like an invitation to his subconscious world.
