This work is part of the 'imagery'series. It is named after an American political series about a congressman and his ambition to obtain power. The series contains themes like pragmatism, manipulation and betrayal. These subjects are reflected in this painting, which is consisting of several shades of blue. The variety of light and dark tints visualizes the difference between public appearances and the ruthless behavior behind the scenes.
