About the art
Artist statement
Where accessible, dunes draw people, always most aspirant to reach the tallest mounds. I prefer the untouched sand and avoid the rush, stumbling down the shifting slopes to stand in a depression where all sound is dampened as is the sand from storms the previous day - preserving the patterns of the wind more firmly. Only in this patch of sky are there no clouds leaving a crisp late morning blue to contrast the warming sand in a minimal composition.
Limited series of 50:
-24x16"
-Produced through chromogenic process with Fuji Crystal Archive Professional Lustre paper
It will be shipped in a tube, accompanied by a signed and numbered COA.
Available in any size upon request.
